Foodies Finding Flavor are a pair of people who have become restaurant critics.  We are a mother and son (and sometimes dad) team located in the greater NYC area.  We will eat just about anywhere.   From casual holes-in-the-wall to fine dining in private clubs.  We do it all.  Our goal is to find good food and to share our experiences with you.

Big Baby is in 5th grade.  He dislikes most soups with the exceptions of chicken noodle soup and egg drop soup.  He dislikes anything spicy, tomatoes, cucumbers, and all green leafy vegetables except broccoli.

Mama Foodie prefers food that is a little spicy and tends to enjoy garlic a lot.  She does not like olives, bluefish, scallops, meat that is very pink, or weak coffee.

Our rating system is based on a scale of 1-10.  10 being the best, and one being the worst.  We average out our ratings and assign stars to each restaurant we review.  The stars are as follows:
